Art Garden

An artist duo, consisting of a scupltor/painter and a photographer, own this beautiful, detached former mayors house. Several sight lines from the house determine the lay-out of the garden and for instance the positioning of the long rectangular pond. There are 3 terraces surrounding this pond, each with it’s own feel to it: one is made of gravel, the second of decking; for the third woodchips have been applied. A high wall made of piled firewood logs block out the view onto the neighbors. Beautiful artworks form various focal points..
